So I'm going to be starting up a contest soon. Well, by soon I mean it will start in January after I get back from Japan, but a contest nevertheless. It's actually more of a game than an art contest.

Here's how it works:
The premise is to help Al find all his missing cats.
Each month I'll submit 2 pics, one at the beginning and then another at the end of the month, which will have one of his cats hidden in it. The first person to comment where the cat is will get a point. You can also get a point for being the first to comment where Al is. Which could be anything from an actually place, to another anime series, to inside a book, etc. At the end of the contest I'll tally up the points and the winner gets a prize. I'm not sure how long the contest will be, definately a couple months, but I'll have to see how active it gets before I decide. The prize will most likely be all the pages put together with a short comic for the beginning and end of the story. Please comment if you're interested, because it'll be really helpful to know who's interested!!

To help the environment you could:
Not use the computer or TV all day
Make sure to turn off lights when you're not in a room
replace an old bulb with a fluorescent one
Unplug electronics not in use
Recycle something...anything
Reuse something old that was going to be thrown away
Use both sides of the paper
Take a shorter shower
Walk instead of drive the car
Don't take the plastic bag if you don't need to
Use reusable cloth grocery bags
Buy something that is good for or donates to the environment
Adopt a stray pet for indoors (they're invasive and can kill off native species)
Plant something native, not exotic, to your area
Encourage someone else to do the same
